Kania's decide where to go next

Since the beginning of our relationship, Thomas and I have been traveling too often, either by car, train, bus or planes. The reason is, because we both have these traveller adventurous spirits that is always on the need for search new places to go and explore next. When we are not travelling outside Germany, we try weekly to visit a new place for doing new activities, feel like tourist, go hiking and of course taking pictures everywhere we go, to make memories and a mark of us.

Have you ever been on the position when you ask yourself, as you have no clue, where to go next? Surely many traveller might be on same situation as this. Mostly when you have to many options or you're not able to agree with someone else where to go next. This is also the same situation that Thomas and I have to face sometimes. Therefore, we came with a new idea on how to decide where to go.

The Falling Postic Game is an idea that occurred to me a day while sitting on my desk. Many of us who has a home office, are students or work in an office, have these tiny sticky yellow or coloured papers to make notes, called "Post-tic".

Basically, the idea is to take as many Post-tics as you need, and write on them all the places you have in mind as where to go. In our case, we planned that yearly there should always be trips that involves us going abroad by plane, going abroad by car - like in the case we are living in Europe - or either just inside trips around Germany. Taking this opportunity, we both wrote which places we wanted to visit without telling the other. However, at the end as you can imagine, we had written down on some same places on our Post-tics - obviously we discard one of it.

Having that sorted out, we proceed to paste them on a surface, which in our case was the sliding door of our closet. The reason why we selected it was, because It was the closest one to me when we did this. Normally, when a closet has sliding door you might think Post-tics will fall easier. However, it was not the case of ours, because even after a month there where many Post-tics on stick on that door. I guess we bought very good quality Post-tic.

For instance, our list was quite long, as we put all the places we wanted badly to go not only the ones we want to go soon. The purpose of the game for us, was to visit this countries in the same order they would fall. Hoping and having in mind that probably we would not be able to do it like that. However, we will try to do our best to make it on the same order.

If you are a family, a couple, a single person or you want to travel with someone and we have inspired you, we invite you to try this idea and take the chance to let destiny surprise you and to decide for you where to go for your next trip. Let us know if like the idea, live us a comment as also we would like to hear how your Falling Post-tic game went.
